Wedding Season! What is it with all the weddings?

Every year come December, marriage fever hits the city.

Most people have to attend atleast 1 wedding, but its common for people to have to go to multiple functions on single nights. Weddings go on till late at night. Ladies happily freeze in their pricy wedding fashions, while the men stay cozy in their suits. People don't eat home food for days on end. The late coffees are probably my favorite part.

Certain business owners get really happy. Exorbidant prices for shaadi halls, wedding clothes, catering and decorations form the bulk of wedding expenses.

It's really the best time for tourists to come to Pakistan, and ask to be invited to a wedding by their Pakistani hosts. But go easy on the food.

Im going to be going to several this season. It's gonna be fun!
